Stefan Priehyba is a professional sculptor and educator. His early studies back in 1996 were all about reproduction sculpting and carving. He continued his interest in sculpting ever since. Stefan started his film career as a prop maker in 2006 where he was using all his skills in mould-making, sculpting, plastering and many more sculptural techniques. At the very beginning of his career, he was self-employed as a prop maker in Barandov Studios in Prague, and then he moved with the film crew to Hungary and to Malta. After several years in the industry, Stefan decided to share his vast knowledge of sculptural techniques and became a lecturer of art, where he is training new talents in the art of sculpting, human anatomy, drawing and painting, and set design for theatres and movies. Stefan’s combination of many years of prop making and teaching the craft of set design and prop making is the ideal mix of experience and understanding of how to deliver that knowledge to his students.
