GUARDIAN ANGELS

GUARDIAN ANGELS

JOE SMITH

Medium: Photographic print on archival fine art paper

Size: 54x40cm

Year: 2021

Artwork Description: The English equivalent of ‘Indokra’ translates to Oversee or Care For. And this is what immediately came to mind when I made this photograph in Noto, Sicily. The proportions in scale add to this narrative. Ultimately, the concept of guardian angels serves to provide comfort, reassurance, and a sense of divine presence for many individuals. Believing in guardian angels can offer a source of hope, protection, and guidance, reminding people that they are not alone in their journey through life.
