Richard Saliba attended the Government School of Art, Valletta in the 1960’s, Valletta, and later the Accademia di Belle Arti in Perugia and the Istituto Statale d’Arte, Urbino. Over years his work was exhibited in numerous personal and collective exhibitions, both in Malta and abroad, and more recently, a retrospective exhibition of a selection of his work produced during the past 50 years was held at the Malta Society of Arts, Valletta.
